Columbia Shocker

A Columbia University professor received a threat in the form of a rope.

Professor Marie Miville found a hang mans noose dangling on the office door of Prof. Madonna Constantine at the Columbia university Teachers College Tuesday.

Constantine, a black professor, is a respected psychology and education expert has written several books including Addressing Racism.

Detectives are investigating whether the incident was racially motivated or in connection to a dispute with another professor.

About 150 students gathered in front of the Teachers College last night to protest racism, and students have planned a student walked out for 2 p.m. today.
