Secretary of State Condelezza Rice was interrogated by a group of Harlemites on why she was not running for president, her sleeping habits, and why she was not afraid of war zones.Following nine days of U.N. General Assembly, Rice went uptown to Harlem to talk a little about domestic affairs with America's future voters, elementary school students at P.S. 154 Harriet Tubman Learning Center.
From the beginning of the meeting, the students did not hold back asking questions like, do does it feel "to be a lady with such a powerful job?" or whether she was scared to be in war zones in Iraq.
Rice teamed up with Rep. Charlie Rangel, whose counsel district includes Harlem, to tour the Harlem school and participate in an assemble with a long question-and-answer section.
An aide for Rice said the purpose of the visit was to highlight a well regarded school that has blossomed in part because of private funds.
